Question 1

What is AuftragPro?

Accepted Answer

AuftragPro is a platform where customers can create a moving request and suitable moving companies can submit quotes. This makes it easier to compare prices, services and company profiles.

Question 2

Is creating a request free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, creating a moving request is free and comes with no obligation. You decide whether to accept any of the quotes you receive.

Question 3

How does AuftragPro work for customers?

Accepted Answer

Describe your move and provide key details such as the collection and delivery addresses, moving date, home size, floor, lift, number of boxes and additional services. Suitable companies can then view your request and send you a quote.

Question 4

What details should I include in my moving request?

Accepted Answer

The more accurate your information, the more realistically moving companies can estimate costs. Include your home size, floor, lift access, parking, number of boxes, furniture assembly and disassembly, bulky items, photos and any additional services you need.

Question 5

Why do moving costs vary?

Accepted Answer

Moving costs depend on distance, volume, number of movers, lift access, floor, parking, carrying distance, boxes, assembly work, bulky items and the date. An online calculator can therefore only give a rough estimate.

Question 6

Do I have to choose the cheapest quote?

Accepted Answer

No. You are free to choose the quote that suits you best. Alongside the price, consider reviews, included services, insurance, communication and the company's experience.

Question 7

How can I identify a reliable moving company?

Accepted Answer

Look for complete company details, transparent prices, clear service descriptions, reviews, insurance, accessible customer support and realistic quotes. Treat unusually low prices without clear details with caution.

Question 8

Can I upload photos to my request?

Accepted Answer

Yes, photos help companies assess the work involved. Pictures of furniture, stairwells, entrances, parking, cellars, attics and large items are particularly helpful.

Question 9

What happens after I submit my request?

Accepted Answer

Your request is shown to suitable moving companies. Interested companies can get in touch and submit a quote. You can then compare quotes, ask questions and choose a company.

Question 10

Can I request a last-minute move?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can also post last-minute moves. However, fewer companies may be available at short notice.

Question 11

How does AuftragPro work for moving companies?

Accepted Answer

Moving companies register, create a company profile and view suitable requests. If a request is a good fit, the company can send the customer a quote.

Question 12

What are the benefits of AuftragPro for companies?

Accepted Answer

Companies can reach customers who are actively planning a move, win new jobs, make better use of spare capacity and strengthen their profiles through reviews.

Question 13

What information does a company need to register?

Accepted Answer

Typical details include the company name, contact person, phone number, email address, service area, services and company description, with optional documents such as a trade registration or VAT number.

Question 14

Can companies choose which requests to respond to?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Companies can review suitable requests and decide for themselves whether to submit a quote.

Question 15

What should a good quote include?

Accepted Answer

A good quote should clearly explain the price, scope of work, number of movers, vehicle size, included services, additional charges, insurance and any conditions.

Question 16

Are the prices shown binding?

Accepted Answer

A price becomes binding when the company provides a specific quote with a clearly defined scope of work and the customer accepts it. Earlier estimates are for guidance only.

Question 17

Which additional services can increase the price?

Accepted Answer

Packing, furniture assembly and disassembly, disposal, a reserved parking zone, piano transport, heavy items, long carrying distances or a lack of lift access can increase the price.

Question 18

Why should I compare several quotes?

Accepted Answer

Several quotes give you a better sense of market prices. You can also compare services, reviews and conditions instead of choosing on price alone.

Question 19

Who is liable for damage during the move?

Accepted Answer

Liability depends on the contract, insurance and applicable law. Before booking, customers should clarify which damage is covered and how it must be documented.

Question 20

Can I review a company after the move?

Accepted Answer

Yes, reviews help other customers make better decisions and give good companies more visibility.
